I love all the seasons and embrace each with the bounties each brings. Admittedly, my enthusiasm centers around food, family, and friends. On my garden box is a sign that reads, “Life Began in a Garden”. I start spring with this thought and a seedling. Each morning, I spend peaceful moments weeding and watching as the plants grow larger and rows narrower. I tenderly help my cucumbers learn to grow up the trellis. I am renewed by the blooms on our fruit trees and the sweet birds that drop by my garden for a free breakfast.
Spring has come to Porters too! We are searching for the freshest fruits and veggies for our giant Garden Bar and Buffet. We are sweeping the winter off our patio and inviting the best herbs and flowers to grow in our boxes.
Mother’s Day will be another great event at Porters. Make plans now to enjoy a delicious brunch of the sweet and the savory with a nod to the English Tea. And plan to use our photo booth for a 2024 Mother’s Day memento. We look forward to hosting you soon. ~ Christi Ulrich
